The Kentucky Board of Landscape Architects is an independent state agency whose purpose is to protect the public by administering and enforcing the statutes and regulations governing the practice of Landscape Architecture in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
The Board is a separate and distinct entity from any professional associations. The Board is a self-supporting agency and receives no general fund tax appropriation. It is funded entirely through fees assessed for licensing its professionals.

The 2023 Online License Renewal system is now closed. Any license not renewed by June 30th has now Expired and must be Reinstated in order for the license to return to "Active" status, which allows the licensee to use the Title of Landscape Aarchitect and Practice Landscape Architecture in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
